Faltering

This podcast showed some promise early on. Fleet Cooper is a great narrator and the episodes are well-written. Unfortunately, the content has dropped off as of late. Episodes used to be 45 mins to an hour. Now, they’re around 35 mins each and the advertising has increased, further eating into each episode’s run time.

Used to be so good

The good: the narration and information are top notch. Seriously so great.

The bad: When the Mafia podcast series first came out they were a little lengthier and the ads were low key. Perfect. Now they have changed to a “tv series” style format and it just doesn’t fit in with how great podcasts are done. You are interrupted numerous times with ads during the show. Additionally, the shows are getting shorter and shorter. The Trafficante one isn’t even 30 minutes!

Most great podcasts are lengthier and have the ads on the front end so as not to interrupt the content. Please consider changing to a longer format with ads on the front or back end. I don’t mind listening to ads, but you guys are throwing long ads like 3-4 times into a show that isn’t even 30 minutes. That’s just ridiculous.

Excellent content, terrible narrator

Interesting stories, but awful, awful used car salesman host.
