Customer Reviews

well done

This is a really good podcast for someone who wants to get the high points and the really important and/or interesting stories from the great text the Mahabharata presented in a clear conversational style from someone who is very familiar with the text. I can't wait for more installments, I'm really enjoying it.

Amazing!!!

Mahabharat is not only the longest epic poem in the world, it has been and very much is an integral part of Indian culture. It not only is a greatly entertaining story, it is rich in history, culture, mythology, and contains one of the greatest philosophical discourses in the world -- the Bhagavad Gita. This podcast deals with the complexities of Mahabharat brilliantly, and genuinly provides an objective, analytical, thoughtful, and ultimately a greatly entertaining re-telling of this epic. A MUST for all young people of Indian origin, and a great insight into indian culture and history for people interested in religion, history, mythology or India.

Great Podcast

Great podcast. Lawrence Manzo presents the material in a clear voice and I like the fact that he highlights many of the discrepancies between various versions of the text.
