Makes Me Uneasy.

I’ve listened to every episode and the guests and their stories are fascinating but the over-the-top fanboy, interrupting, overly enthused Rupert Pupkin-like host makes me ill at ease. I wish he could ask a simple question and let the guest talk without immediately jumping in with a precise date or his own opinion (since he never met the man). It is odd to me that a show that celebrates the one man who made EVERY guest look their best is being anchored by an interviewer who can’t shut his mouth when his guest speaks.

Mark, lay off the coffee, and calm down

Mark needs to tone it down. He seems way over excited talking to his guests. On the Steven Wright episode, he sounds a little obsessed. Steven is a low key dude and Mark is overpowering the poor guy with questions and almost answering the questions himself. Love the show idea, but bring it down a notch or two.

Excellent

Stumbled upon this new podcast and am loving it. Exciting to see such great guests in the first few episodes, and can’t wait to see where it goes.
