The podcast with real help for relationships that are "married to the work:" whether it's a startup, entrepreneurship, parenthood, or all of the above. Mission We started this podcast to help us - and others - to get better at the most important thing: our partnership together. This is not just the podcast for entrepreneurs but for anyone who’s involved in sort of an identity changing kind of work. You could be in academia, a stay-at-home parent - anything where you are bringing to bear the fullness of your identity, and your identity is being changed by what you’re called to do on a daily basis. That’s really who we’re speaking to. We believe that when our marriage is healthy, everything else in our lives will thrive. Description Startup life is hard because WHAT YOU DO becomes WHO YOU ARE, and you both end up married to the work. Let’s help each other get better at our most important partnership. Join us!

Honest and Open Podcast

Some friends recommended this podcast. Once I listened, I can clearly see why. It is an excellent, honest and caring example of a couple putting the time into their healthy marriage and documenting it in a podcast. They give themselves a specific task or outlook they'll focus on for a week to keep their marriage strong and then say they'll report back every week with results and feedback. This podcast is clearly worth your time. I subscribed and recommend the same as I look forward to more episodes. Great job!

Honest and encouraging

What Leslie and Laura are doing is counterintuitive in our culture. They’re putting it all out there and wearing their relationship on their sleeves. It’s so encouraging to hear a couple discuss marriage challenges in the startup/business world. Hearing the advice they receive and the results from acting on the advice is equally great.

Powerful, vulnerable, and relatable!

I’m a single gal who isn’t married with three kids trying to run a family dynamic that stretches you thin but surprisingly (or not so surprisingly) this podcast really hit home for me. The heart of this podcast is two people who want to do better. They strive to make their marriage and family dynamic work! The choices and techniques they use are applicable for all types of people (not just married folk) therefore, I found this podcast powerful as it shook my current state of being, challenging me to step up for better.

What sets them apart is the fact that they’re willing to be vulnerable about who they are as they journey in marriage with three young kids. They take on a challenge for the week and record their thoughts (the good, the bad, and the ugly) *for* the podcast. They aren’t sitting there thinking they are higher up than others talking down to a group of people who need to learn a thing or two. Not at all! They take you along their journey as they wrestle and become a better husband, wife, father and mother. It’s very open, raw, and refreshing.

I highly recommend subscribing to this podcast. I’m kind of hooked because I genuinely want to see what the couple wrestles with next week… and honestly I want to learn with them! I’m a weekly fan!
