The Married to Doctors podcast pushes away the stereotypical "doctor-wife" image and is a space where people from all different backgrounds can find a community, explore solutions and share stories about the unique challenges that come from being in a relationship with someone choosing a career in the medical profession. We discuss loneliness, debt, communication, romance, moving, parenting and more. The host of Married to Doctors is Lara McElderry, who has been navigating the medical world for the last sixteen years as she’s supported her husband through medical school, residency, a specialty change, fellowship, as well as raising five boys. She hopes the podcast will inspire others to share and implement ideas for how to make successful homes happier. Thank you, subscribers, for the amazing reviews!

Raw, honest and just what we need
What an amazing concept! The stories are so raw and touching and yet also relatable. I can’t wait to see what else this podcast brings.
Straight to the heart of being a physician spouse!
I am loving this podcast! It’s so real and honest and it gets straight to the heart of being a physician spouse. I’m so excited for the official launch and to see what 2018 will bring. The first 3 episodes were exactly what this doctor wife’s heart needed!
Amazing and uplifting!
I am addicted already! This podcast is so real and raw. It really dives into the lives of being married to a doctor. There is so much more to it then people see on the outside.
