Customer Reviews

Calling All Disney podcasts, you just got owned.

I was a lifeless addict; listening to a litany of boring Disney podcasts that musically lacked the depth of a thimble and rambled on like a senile Mark Twain. Enough of the park music, I know what it sounds like... sheesh! Then there was the Meandering Mouse, and God saw that it was good. As you listen you start to notice one thing: Jeff is talking the entire freaking time! He won't shut up, and you don't want him to. This podcast provides the great Disney ride through experiences of its brethren with the refreshing and often raw commentary of Jeff (from Houston). Suddenly I'm in the park getting on Space Mountain with Jeff! We scream as the ride hurtles through the darkness and laugh at our childishness as the ride car pulls back into the terminal at the end of the ride. But it doesn't stop here- and as we exit the area we discuss our favorite parts and wave our arms around excitedly. This is the Meandering Mouse to me, a hands-on, riding with your best bud, let's make fun of that monster sort of Disney podcast. I feel like I'm in the next seat enjoying the fun! Attention other Disney podcasts: Notice the amazing production value and attention to detail, and, dear audience, listen more than once- you might just miss a muttered comment that has you howling with laughter. Enough feeble humans! subscribe to this podcast NOW!

The Best

Of all of the Disney podcasts I’ve listened to, the Meandering Mouse is my favorite. Jeff adds a commentary intro, backed with ambient soundscape music, to all of his in-the-park audio. He supplements with a running narration where necessary, along with some history for the attraction being featured. The recording quality is outstanding, and his obsession with production excellence makes each episode shine. Jeff’s passion for the Disney parks is unmatched without being superficially syrupy. And every so often, the alter-ego ‘Saul’ shows up just to spice things up a bit. This podcast, along with several others on the Disney Podcast Network contributed heavily to accelerating the timeline for my family’s return trip to WDW.

A Very Fun Audio Ride

I actually come from houston and I love the disney parks. The Meandering Mouse helps me get away from my boring life. My next trip to WDW is in thanksgiving Of 2006 ( I hate the summer time at disney too). Keep the show freaky and funny I look foward to it every week.
