Great guests - needs better editing

I like the idea of using Google hangouts for live video version of the podcasts, but the audio really suffers, and you need to do at least some basic audio editing before uploading these to audio syndication.

Rough around the edges

Topically, this show is pretty interesting, but it suffers from poor production quality. I’m only listening to an audio version, but it sounds like most of the guests don’t bother to use a microphone but instead just speak at their computer or webcam. This makes it harder to listen and enjoy. Even the host’s audio sounds digitally lossy. This is not the quality I expect from something with the PBS brand on it.

The producers also include a teaser for the show in the same feed as the show…which makes no sense to me. Subscribers are going to get both of these, so how is this useful? Worse, it’s in the feed AFTER the show you just listened to.

Then there’s the highly-pixelated, low-res show icon….
