Ginger Locke is a paramedic and professor of EMS students in the US. She has long been fascinated with the inner-workings of medics' minds. In this podcast, she interviews medics face-to-face, in long, intimate format. She thoughtfully asks her guests to open up about their mindset, routines, mistakes, thought-processes, and lessons hard-learned. This is her creative outlet (art). She is on twitter @gingerlockeatx and show notes from each episode can be found at medicmindset.com.

Window into medic brains
Unlike most other medical podcasts, this isn't about polished clinical excellence. It's about the thought processes (sound & flawed) of prehospital clinicians.
Decent to good production values from what appears to be a one-woman-show, engaging speakers. I would recommend.
Raw and honest dialogue from new medics
Dive into a world not many people know about. EMS is a strange mystical creature, and so are those that work in it. Scary, exciting, and frequently strange, those who work in the EMS world know it's unlike anything else. Ginger Locke delves into the minds of Paramedics and how and why they do what they do. And not just any Paramedics- brand new ones that are fresh out of school. These podcasts are of these medics finding their way in their first few years- how they run calls, how they adjust their lives, and how EMS changes them as a person. So take a listen- you won't be disappointed!
The Perfect Conversational Podcast
This podcast is an incredible insight into the thoughts, feelings and life of a medic. There's nothing else like this out there.
The conversations are honest and filled with some amazing experiences from paramedics. They offer useful ideas and tips for fellow medics.
Ginger Locke moves the dialogue along nicely and asks some really interesting questions.
I highly recommend this podcast for anyone interested in the medical field and some remarkable stories.
