Fun honest metal talk

After listening for a couple months now I'm hooked on this podcast. For the simple chemistry George and his friend have. It's easy to hear how good of friends they are and how the hour or so they do a week just flows so easily from them.

So much Metal! So much Beer!

If you like honest, thoughtful, sensitive reviews of the latest soulful ballads from the deep feelings of your favorite Metal artistes, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

This podcast is blacker than the Stygian pits of darkest Hades, heavier than Strontium 90, and ready to turn your eardrums into playthings for the sonic demons of the blackest Metal demigods. And there is beer.

Listen to it, learn from it and give yourself over until your soul is broken again and again on the rack of audio pleasures that will make you fear the night and question your very sanity!

The Boys are Back in Town

So, here's the thing. Do you like metal? Do you ~love~ metal? Do you debate it with your friends? Have you ever been in a conversation with someone else where one of you has uttered those dreadful words "Whoa, that's not ~real~ metal"?

If so, this podcast is for you. It brings back all those late-night talks, bar-side arguments, friendly talks that devolve into heated shouting matches that eventually cycle back to friendship.

George obviously has a long history in metal fandom. and it shows. If you listen to this podcast (and I suggest you do), effing have a sheet of paper and a pen handy (or, at least have your phone open to the notes app), you will be writing down bands to check out, constantly. Buke is incredibly affable, and a wonderful point/counter-point when needed in often 4 hours of metal talk. The addition of Jay from Catatonic Society (*que blast beat* CATATONIC SOCIETY!) is awesome, as it presents not only the metal fandom, but an insider's perspective of the industry/performing, etc.

Honestly, if you have any appreciation for metal, effing listen to this podcast. It's getting the boys together to talk about new releases, what the eff is spinning your gears this week, and what should reign supreme for the year.

Are you not convinced? Are you not entertained?! Do you require more?! What about the awesome interviews? They're great! Yeah, George wants to say that he's horrible at interviews, but c'mon, he's the effing Everyman talking to these fantastic musicians, and asking the things I want to know about.

Oh, and new bands? Eff yeah, every episode. That's right, some new stuff, fresh off the presses, for unsigned bands. Again, you're going to want to have a pen and paper handy (hey, maybe make scrib notes on your D&D sheet when you discover Dethlehem from these guys? I know I did.), because every episode, they're going to blast you with something that you didn't even know you wanted until you hear it.

This 'cast is great. Is it perfect? No, but it shouldn't be. Like metal, it would be incredibly boring if it were. Subscribe and listen, it's like having your friends in the room raunchily debating music again. You will not be disappointed.
