Description

Midmost Coast specializes in the intersection of history and movies. We use comedy to make the historical and film dissections fun and interesting. These are our current show topics: "HistoryCast 5000" where we examine the historical accuracy of a film "Non-Union Films" in which we review Hollywood outcast productions and the colorful stories behind their making "Very Local History" which takes a personal look at a history topic with a very local flair "Script Bandits" where we take an event or person from history that deserves to be a major motion picture and break it down Our release schedule is currently "quasi monthly."

Educational and Fun

If you like movies and history then this is the podcast for you. The hosts combine the two interests in different ways; I listened to an episode where they pitched an idea for a movie based on a real historical event. They pick interesting and funny topics, and they do their research.
