Description

Drawing inspiration from 1950s radio serials and ghost stories, Midnight Radio follows two women finding love through an unlikely correspondence about community, leaving your small hometown, our relationship to the past, what it means to be haunted, and what we leave behind when we die. Remember: all ghost stories are love stories.

Sweet and ringing with truth

Plenty of podcasts feature a narrator monologuing into a microphone, and this particular podcast demonstrates the best that this narrative form can offer. The story unfolds beautifully and carries the authentic weight of truth. This feels like a very personal, honest analysis of how our origins define us, for better or worse. The gentle tension between the two main characters is wonderfully done and feels very much like the inner dialogue of anyone struggling to come to terms with their past.

Fantastic!

Midnight Radio has become one of my favorite podcasts. The pacing is perfect - revealing just a little bit of the story at a time, enough for you to start putting pieces together, but withholding enough for you to keep wanting to tune in to the next episode! I can't wait for the next installment, and I'm excited to see where the story goes!

I LOVE IT!

There is something so special about this podcast! It's reminisent of other podcasts where the main character is recording themselves... But adds *SO MUCH* with its storytelling of a narrator about the history of her and this town. And it gives a sense of unease when you start to realize what's really going on... In that way, it's so unique?! And I am a SUCKER for LGBT+ Romances!!! I'm absolutely blown away.
