So on point, loved this.
As a “passing for white” mixed woman I constantly hear the phrase “what are you?”. It’s something we’re all used to. I follow as many mixed people medias as possible, always looking for more people to relate to the struggle. This podcast is on point to both the common daily struggles but the self discovery and questions we ask ourselves. If I could give more than 5 stars I would
Katie shines a well researched light on topics of race that otherwise fester in the putrid underbellies of social media comment threads. She draws from an array of thinkers, relays experiences of her peers and guests, and shares intimate stories of her own.
I am especially amazed by whoever produces and edits this podcast. Listening to this podcast reminds me of the first time I heard Mozart or Kanye. Katie should give her producer a bonus, and make sure s/he doesn't get poached by NPR.
