This time, he's diving head first into philosophy (a subject he knows little about) with fellow comedians (Marc Maron, Artie Lange, Maria Bamford, Lewis Black, Greg Fitzsimmons, Larry Miller, Reggie Watts etc.) and attempting to find the answers to life's great questions. Even if the questions just lead to more questions, there will be many laughs in between. You can listen and decide: Are comedians really "modern day philosophers"?

Brilliant concept! I love listening to the show and the interesting stories that are shared along with the laughs. It's not just comedy, but history that is shared and you'll always learn something new and interesting about some of the most popular and entertaining comics around today and of the past. It's a great listen while I'm doing my daily commute and I appreciate all the hard work and effort that must go into planning each episode. Keep it up Danny!!
How Did I Only Just Find This?
I found this podcast not too long ago and have been ravenously going through the past episodes. Some are no longer available here but are purchasable, so what’d I do? I went to the iTunes Store and bought one of the albums. The host knows how to probe for further clarification from his guests and it’s enjoyable to hear he and the comics he’s interviewing discover these philosophers for the first time to discuss. I haven’t even finished going through the backlog yet and I’ve already gone back and listened to the Jackie Martling and Pat Cooper episodes multiple times!
Excruciating
I listened to part of one. A comedian who never heard of Thomas Szasz pontificates on Szasz’s contentions basin on a couple of sentences Szasz wrote. It’s hard to imagine anything more idiotic.
