Not a fan

If you’re looking for anything similar to S&S this is not it. Plays out like an audio book that puts so much into the imagery to the point that it becomes exhausting to listen. This is a story telling podcast “based” on true events, just like your favorite horror movie. If you’re looking for true crime go somewhere else. Not my cup of tea, but hey, maybe it’s yours.

Exploitative trash.

I listened to this without knowing anything about this dude's other podcast (thanks for the fake reviews from all his fans who hadn't even listened yet, btw), but I can see why so many people hate this pod. It's not worth listening to.

The host is garbage

Mike Boudet (the host of this podcast and Sword & Scale) mocks transgender individuals and has a noted history of sexism and misogyny. He immediately blocks anyone who calls him out on social media or gives him a poor review, which is why he seems so "popular." Furthermore, this show is incredibly insensitive to survivors and victims. The exploitative factor is high with this one. 0/10 do not recommend.
