Description

The Morbid Moment is a bi-weekly podcast where Stick talks about creepy stuff and Red provides snide commentary. Join them as they discuss ghost stories, monster lore, serial killers, supernatural phenomena, and all that other morbid stuff you secretly love but are too socially adapted to chat with your co-workers about.

Fascinating and Often Hilarious!

This podcast is worth every minute! These wonderful women are teaching me so thoroughly about such horrific subject matter. I can't stop listening! I'm eagerly awaiting each new episode, wondering what greatness they'll share next. The episode about Belle the serial killer was so very good. Check it out!

Wonderful!

A wonderful podcast about all things spooky with two very charming hosts. Fun and informative!

HOW HAVE I NOT WRITTEN A REVIEW YET!?

This podcast is so good! It's evident that each topic is heavily investigated and the hostesses present themselves as very knowledgeable and steeped in the macabre. Stick's strengths as a researcher really shine through as she recounts various tales and accounts, some pulled from the lost cracks of history, and Red's colorful commentary and genuine reactions add truckloads of depth and character to each story. The content is dark and gritty at times, and yet these two make each episode feel like you are sitting down to a comfortable conversation with longtime friends...a comfortable conversation about murder, mayhem, and some other "M" word that has something to do with creepiness. They are not a big budget cast filled with sound effects and mood music. THEY DON'T NEED IT. Their charm comes from their homemade sound and straightforward approach; they love the proverbial "things that go bump," and they want to share that enjoyment with others. In fact, this podcast makes me want to set up a message board or some such where Morbidites can congregate and geek out together. Jenkins, make it happen!

...If only I knew someone named Jenkins.
