Description

Where extraordinary educators talk about how and what they learn from sharing their own mistakes. Hosted by Jon Harper

Customer Reviews

My Bad podcast - learn from your mistakes!

This is a fascinating series where educators are asked to talk about mistakes they have made - their "bads" as the expression goes - and discuss what they have learned from those mistakes.
Host Jon Harper is more than willing to talk about his own flubs, errors, unconsidered reactions, impatient moments, whatever, and the lessons learned. The guests share their own no doubt uncomfortable experiences all in the goal of educating(!) listeners in how to avoid those incidents, or at least realizing they aren't the only ones making those errors.
I admire the whole concept and the willingness of the participants to "fess up" and share for the common good.
By the way, these episodes apply to any job or social situation, not just educators

My Bad is ALL Good!

I'm only two episodes in, and this podcast is already one of my all-time favorites. A definite breath of fresh air in the crowded EduPodcasting space, "My Bad" is ALL good!

My Bad - Fantastic Insight

Love the podcast! We talk constantly in education about the need to fail forward. However if we don't hear educators talk about their mistakes and what they learn from them, we will not be able to create this culture. It's great to be able to hear about lessons learned!
