A Woman reads a fact list of crimes-absolutely no storytelling

The reader has an Australian accent and reads it in a punctuated mechanical way a list of facts devoting about three minutes to each crime.

So excited!

As a busy mom of two and true crime lover, I have become a huge fan of podcasts. In Sight was my first podcast ever and I’ve been a HUGE fan ever since! I just pop in m headphones and hear two of my favorite ladies stir up my inner detective! Whatever you ladies do, I’m there and I cannot wait to add this podcast to my list!

Can’t Trust The Information Reported As Facts

Each episode delivers a few minutes covering each of 10 unsolved crimes. It may be “Mysteriously Listed” but the greater mystery is where Ali McLennan gets her information. With each episode covering 10 mini-stories it makes one wonder.

I was listening to one of her episodes that included Maura Murray, but ALL Ali McLennan “facts” were totally contrary to what has been covered in both the podcast dedicated entirely to the investigation of what happened to Maura Murray, and the subsequent made for TV investigation into the Maura Murray mystery as well. Both included interviews of sister, father, investigations by police, coworker, reenactments and local searches which continue to this day.

A second example is the recent testimony in the court proceedings of Robert Durst regarding the facts of his alleged self defense killing AND DISMEMBERMENT of his neighbor and the evidence of what Robert Durst said in his off interview comment in the made for TV investigation into his alleged murders. This did NOT match the story presented by Ali McLennan in her same “Mysteriously Listed” episode in which she said he confessed to all three murders during his interview.

When I heard the significant mistakes of the facts in both stories from two different episodes, and I considered the amount of research for 10 segments per episode, I lost confidence in the information reported in any of Ali McLennan’s multiple “Mysteriously Listed” episode stories.
