Nanotechnology is a more precise way of doing everything — making things, assembling things, measuring things, sorting things, etc. From construction and energy to health and information technology, few industries will be immune to its influence. The Nanovation podcast is a forum to address the big questions, challenges, and opportunities of nanotechnology. Topics lie at the intersection of nanoscience, manufacturing, technology, business, and society. The podcast is conversational in format and aimed at a general, yet technically-savvy audience. Nanovation is hosted by Prof. Michael Filler from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Customer Reviews

Great niche podcast!

If you are at all interested in the nanotechnology field, this is a good podcast for you. The academic level is well balanced- not too difficult to understand for those with a basic understanding of engineering and/or science, but more detailed than many of the podcasts categorized as science. There is also a great mix of topics. For example, some discuss specific nanotechnologies like silicon nanowires and carbon nanotubes, but there are also discussions on the difficulties of scale-up and the safety and environmental concerns of nanomanufacturing. I would definitely recommend for those looking for a new podcast!

Great podcast for everyone!

I discovered this podcast after I went to Dr. Filler's amazing talk at a conference and looked up his name. This is a great podcast for anyone interested in nano science and technology. It addresses a wide variety of interesting topics to get everyone interested, and provides comprehensive information on each topic such that it is easy enough for a general audience to understand the content. Overall, a great podcast and I would recommend it to everyone!

Informative, funny, nonchalant, inspiring.
