Ugh, let her speak!

I've listened to a few episodes and I find Adam talking over , interupting, and dismissing Elizabeth's comments makes what should be an enjoyable podcast almost un-listenable. The mansplaining is just too much. The kicker for me was when he dismisses her observations about what teenage girls are like in the episode of The Craft. Seriously, he's such a know-it-all that he knows more about what it's like to be a teenage girl than someone who actually was a teenage girl?

Guy steam rolls his wife constantly

Cuts her off all the time and she just takes it. It’s so funny how he clearly values his line of thought much more then hers. Great show really enjoy it.

Do you talk movies with a co-worker? It's like that.

This isn't a 5-star podcast. Yet.

It is interesting, occasionally insightful, occasionally funny, and occasionally educational. I think all of the above will become less occasional and more regular as the show finds its sea-legs. The episodes in which a little bit of research was done by the co-hosts definitely have a better vibe to them.

The biggest thing that is hurting it right now is recording quality. There are too many cheap and easy microphone options out there for the "recorded with an iPhone" sound that we're getting. For casual conversations like this it may not seem to matter much - but it does.

This podcast has an easy reach to a large audience since it's affiliated with Starburns Industries. I would like to see it clear some of these easy hurdles so it doesn't die an early, easily avoidable death in the podcast graveyard. It's barely out of the delivery room (just to over-extend the metaphor).

This isn't a 5-star podcast yet, but I think it will be. Good luck.
