Interviews with Scholars of Psychoanalysis about their New Books

Customer Reviews

Finally, a podcast about psychoanalysis!

I'm so excited to finally find a podcast devoted to psychoanalysis. While there are some great psychology podcasts out there that sometimes address this topic (e.g. Shrinkrap Radio), I've yet to find one devoted completely to this fertile area. It's a shame when there are so many recordings of presentations and discussion available online as recordings. Distributing such material via podcast could potentially introduce modern psychoanalytic thinking to a much broader audience.

Thank your, Ms. Morgan and NBN, for breaking new ground for psychoanalysis in the world of podcasting.

Psychoanalysis is alive and well!

I have listened to the first three episodes- and they just keep getting better. I like the open and honest interview style of Ms. Morgan and the way she puts the author (and listener!) at ease with what could otherwise be technical jargon (psychobabble). The episodes so far also help show how psychoanalysis can really make a contribution to the world we all live in. Thanks and I look forward to hearing more.

This podcast is great!

For psychoanalysts, patients and the rest of the public - - this podcast is a real find. Ms. Morgan, a practicing analyst herself, conducts skilled and engaging interviews on contemporary topics in psychoanalysis. She makes the material very accessible and real (not a ton of jargon or "inside" humor). What is so special is to the have the opportunity to listen to the most contemporary practitioners and writers discuss their work in conversational tone. Very enlightening - a fabulous resource.
