Great Overview of the NE OCR Scene
Great podcast focusing on the New England Obstacle Racing Scene.
Great OCR race info
The show is packed with the latest in OCR news and racing info for the local New England racing scene and around the US. Always a fun way to spend an hour with Sandy, Josh and Paul!
Glad that I found out that you guys have a podcast!
I am not a Spahten but I'm a big fan of you guys and what you do for the local community (be it OCR or Rucksgiving). I never realized that you guys had an official podcast. I had seen the first few YouTube interviews with Robb, Fred, Lynn, and Rob Butler but I didn't realize you had a pure audio form until I saw Josh's post on Instagram.
To play catch up, I binge listened to episodes 12-31 that I could find on my podcast app this week (I drive a lot for work). Overall I loved the content! I have completed well over 60 races but it was very interesting to hear your stories of a few events that my team and I have not participated in yet (OCRWC, Ragnar, and O2X). The episode numbers initially confused me before I had learned of the merging of 2 of your shows. Other than the race content it is very entertaining to hear from Sandy, Paul, and Josh. Mama Hen's reputation goes far beyond the Spahten community for her cheery and helpful personality and her knack to be seen at more than half of the events that I have gone to. Paul as the idea wrangler and occasionally photographer has one of the best podcast voices that I listen to (the accent helps), and Josh (... who I honestly didn't know much about before) is a great addition to the cast and a pretty good verbal punching bag when it comes to avoiding the cold races (he missed out on Blizzard Blast!)
This was a bit of a long review but in summary keep up the great work with the podcast and everything else that you guys do!
