Growing up in Nashville has given me a front row seat to appreciate the wonderful changes that have taken place in recent years. I have also lived in Los Angeles and Washington D.C. where I gained exposure to many emerging concepts that are looking to Nashville for new locations. Since I moved back to Nashville, I have had friends, family, and co-workers ask where I gained my market knowledge on neighborhoods in the urban core. I began to realize that information gained as the result of my interests is valuable to other people who also want to know the best places to live, shop and eat but don’t have time to keep up with the overwhelming volume of information on a growing and rapidly changing city like Nashville. New in Nashville is all about people. It is about the people who make up this city – native and transplants, residents and tourists. The goal is to highlight local businesses and to encourage Nashvillians to experience their city in a new way. Much of the information we will be covering can be found in the Nashville Business Journal, Nashville Post, or Eater, but the goal is to provide this information in an audio medium allowing listeners to stay up to date on their evolving city even when they are on the go or have a limited amount of time.
