Sound mix

One of my favorite pods. Recently plowed through the first five books worth of Pods and am now caught up. Thank you so much and please keep up the great work guys!

Only complaint: PLEASE FIX THE SOUND MIX!!!!!!!!!!! I love the music that accompanies the podcast, however, it’s EXTREMELY loud and incredibly painful to those who listen through headphones. I can’t be the only one who feels like this!

Best HP Podcast

Seriously. This has been the best HP podcast I’ve listened to and also the only podcast I’ve ever written a review for. You guys get so in depth and offer such hilariously insightful commentary. Albie D might be the only way I refer to Dumbledore from now on! Also I love the episodes that Kate is on as well, it’s great hearing her perspective and I actually laughed out loud (at the gym) when you guys were trying to figure out if Harry left book 6 as a virgin or not (They both know about the Room of Requirement!). The only issue I have with the podcast is the sound mixing, the intro and outro music can get so loud relative to the podcast itself. But other than that, love the podcast, I look forward to the episodes each week!

Paying the Blood Price

I was born in ‘98, the year after the first HP book came out. I remember the HP mania and the series drew to a close and the movies were being made. My older siblings were wild about HP but I never got into it- I saw the movies and never could get into the books. Anyways, I’m now 20 and reading Harry Potter for the first time as an adult, just like Josh. I found this podcast first on Spotify and started it on a whim. I found a few podcasts in the same vein but this is by far the best. Josh and Aaron are hilarious, and it’s really enhanced my enjoyment of the books. They’ve pointed out a lot of things that I may not have noticed and ask all the right questions. Did I mention they’re funny? I can’t listen to this podcast in public or people would stare at me like I’m a freaking lunatic because I can’t keep the smile off my face. I’d definitely recommend this podcast to mature Harry Potter readers, new fans and OG.
PS. If Josh an Aaron read this, Pottermore put me in Slytherin too 🐍🐍🐍
PPS I’d pay the freaking blood price for this podcast if I could, and I hope that this review helps instead. If you don’t know what the blood price is you need to listen to the podcast ok.
