Great Hosts, Great Topics!
Love the different backgrounds of the three hosts. It makes each topic interesting due to the three perspectives you get.
This Games Club is Pretty Neat
Nice Games Club, the r/WholesomeMemes of podcasting, is one great reason to look forward to Mondays. The topics are are fun and guests interesting, but the truly attractive thing about this show is its spirit. You come away with the belief that there are at least three people out there who really want the people around them, and the broader gaming community, to be as successful (and nice) as possible. These people are genuinely and irresistably positive.
My one caution to the hosts, as of January 2017, is to not let niceness stop you from expressing strong opinions. Your latest episode - "Will you be the best with me?" - is your best yet, and owes a lot of its charge to the passionate discussion and disagreement it contains. You've shown that a family can bicker, but still love one another. And when you do, it's really, REALLY good pod.
Great group of people!
I really enjoy hearing Mark, Martha, and Stephen debate certain topics in game development. For example, this morning I listened to them discuss the pros and cons of prototyping. It was very helpful to hear their different perspectives on the topic, because I help organize an educational program for emerging game makers.
Their best shows happen when they don't agree on a topic! :)
