Nobody Listens to Paula Poundstone is a comedy field guide to life, or at least a set of IKEA assembly instructions. Where else can you find advice on topics from "How To Keep a Friend" to "How To Translate Your Verizon Bill?" Or even "What do I do if I encounter a Bear" and "Should I Get a Penis Piercing?" Paula and her co-host Adam Felber bring on leading expert guests and use their unique comedic sensibility to help us navigate life in the 21st century. Along the way, Paula attempts to explains existence through her kaleidoscopic perspective, and Adam tries to interject some rationality. Paula Poundstone is a nationally known comedian, legendary for her smart spontaneous humor. She and Adam are regular panelists on NPR's #1 show, Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me!

Customer Reviews

Best part of my week.

I was recently diagnosed with anxiety when this podcast came out. This podcasts is the first thing I listen to when anxious. I listened to the Paula Poundstone Institute podcast and was so sad it ended. THIS podcast brings joy to the start of my week. I’m from a city north of Boston. New England loves you Paula!!

I listen and wish they were longer

I absolutely love this podcast. I'd listen to it if it was on every day, at least for a while. They should try to do a longer show. Paula Poundstone is awesome and I learn something from her whenever she speaks.

So Funny

I can tell it's funny because I sometimes have to pause it enough to calm down at work. Adam Felber is on every show, there is a proclamation of the "Cat of the Week," (that I can't start my week without hearing) and Thomas Coyne has yet to be found. It's a marvelous "family" of fun.
