Binged the whole season in a day
I not only binged the entire season in one day, but I posted this as a recommendation to all my female friends:
“So, I have found that I start a lot of conversations with, “I was listening to a Podcast...”
But, I just stumbled on this one through Twitter today, and I feel like I need to share it! If you are a woman who has ever felt alone in whatever season of life you are in, this podcast is for you.
I personally, found myself tearing up on episodes 1 and 5, because it did my heart good to hear that other women struggle with the things I do. Even listening to their experiences was like checking off boxes in my life!
I will put the disclaimer here, that the women are Christians, but I think even my friends who may fall more in the agnostic/atheism side of life, will find some encouragement. Yes, a lot of the stories talk about putting faith in God, but a lot of them end with women still struggling to do that or that despite doing it not everything is 100% okay, and that is okay. I still think that you could find some encouragement from knowing you are not alone, because let’s face it, regardless or our race, our religion, our lack of religion, our body image, our martial status, our work situations, etc...women all struggle with similar things!”
This is an amazing podcast and I cannot wait to see what season 2 brings!
I’m only 17 and I relate to this so much.
If you’re looking to realize that you’re not the only one give this a listen. (Like yesterday)
Engaging, uplifting, and well produced
These ladies know what they are doing! Not only is the content relevant, interesting, and encouraging, but also this is actually a fully produced show with dialogue and narration, sound effects and music. It's not just an uncut recording of a conversation like so many podcasts. The topics discussed and guests interviewed are focused on women's tendencies and women's stories, but they are more diverse than one might expect and do not stop at what some may consider "women's issues." All of the episodes so far have given thoughtful ideas through real life stories about how to better one's relationships with God and others. Nonexclusive is a delightful and refreshing new show!
