Funny helps make the difficult easy

I have been following Joan for years through her articles in Huffington Post and in her blog. Joan's viewpoint is straight forward, clear and practical. Her natural sense of humor makes her easy to connect to. I have spent over 25 years in education and worked with many boards. Joan knows this world and can help anyone navigate this world.

Amazing Advice for the Modern Age

Joan's mastery of the non-profit space is clear in this fantastic overview of different problems and solutions facing different aspects of non-profit leadership. Recommended for anyone interested in non-profits (or even for-profits, I found a lot of valuable crossover). I loved the first three episode and can't wait for more!

Shot in the arm!

I stumbled on the ED episode today, listened to it while showering since that’s when I have time to just listen to something, and then dug for more over coffee instead of reading more email. Episode one, about making the ask, is already in the inbox of the President of the Board. Thanks! Our nonprofit is barely off the ground, we’ve just expanded the board, every piece of the puzzle is in place but we need good advice fast!
