01 - You've Been Left Behind: The Rapture with Zack Hunt

Jason reveals to Alex that he set up a “left behind” scenario for the youth group which resulted in many tearful conversions to Christ. Alex berates the practice saying that the scare tactic isn’t the best way to lead people to the Lord. Jason disagrees and thus they consult their time machine to peer into the future church to settle the argument. 88 - Kerri Rawson, Daughter of BTK Serial Killer

Kerri is the daughter of the BTK (Bind, Torture, Kill) serial killer, Dennis Rader. From 1974 to 1991 BTK claimed 10 victims. Not only that, he taunted the police and terrorized the citizens of Wichita Kansas through the media releasing photos and evidence of his victims looking for fame and notoriety. But that's not the only way Kerri is choosing to remember him. Her dad lived a double life, and now Kerri lives with PTSD, depression, and anxiety wrestling the good memories of her father and the secret villain that he was. Through the work of God in her life, Kerri has become an advocate for victims of abuse, crime, and trauma, sharing her journey of hope, healing, faith, and forgiveness and we're excited to share it with you!

87 - Excommunication and Renewal With Brandon Carleton

87 - Excommunication and Renewal With Brandon Carleton

After growing up religious and then leaving his faith behind, Pastor Brandon Carleton started to feel like he was throwing the baby out with the bathwater. After years of deconstructing, then reconstructing his beliefs, he began to ask questions like: Is there a way to cut through religious dogma and create authentic community? What would it look like to lead from a position of not having all the answers? What if much of what we are so often taught about the Bible is only one of many ways to interpret the text? This vulnerable and contemplative book offers hope to anyone who has felt excommunicated from a traditional faith system. Through stories of trial and error, Brandon Carleton presents a different approach to faith, pastoring, and ultimately, how to find religion meaningful again.

Theology mixed with humor!

I’ve only listened to a couple episodes so far, but subscribed before the first one was over. I like that this is a refreshing take on Christianity, but I really love the humor and chemistry that the two hosts have. Can’t wait to listen to more episodes! :)

Suicide podcast

Was not looking forward to this one, but listened anyway. It turned out to be extremely well done and taught me a lot. I definitely have a new outlook on this. Thanks for resolving a lot of questions circling around in my soul. Well done, guys!
