New York Nonprofit Media, the must-read news source for the state’s nonprofits, presents its Insights podcast. Each week, we talk to nonprofit executives and CEOs to draw out insights about their leadership style, fundraising, budgeting, programming and staff development best practices, executing their mission and monitoring performance. We interview board chairs and senior board leaders on their board’s culture and processes. We talk with sector thought leaders, philanthropists and foundation program officers about issues relevant to the human services sector such as alleviating poverty, homelessness and youth development. We speak with government officials about legislation and partnerships involving social service agencies. We also mark significant milestones and accomplishments within the sector, share analysis of relevant reports and reflect on the New York nonprofit community as a whole.

Tremendous potential

I live in New York City. I am a retired journalist. I find this podcast to be very interesting. Its authors need to provide more links to their respective organizations. Non-profits in New York face huge challenges, yet seek to do public good. I want to know more about this issue. I want to know who the authors of this podcast are and how people can communicate with them.
