Amuse-bouche for Literature

Fun and funny, this podcast entertained me and piqued my interest to go back and read what I skipped back in high school and college. I love how they give historical context and talk about the good and the bad with the pieces they summarize. Most of the time the classics are presented like precious artifacts, too delicate for criticism or ridicule, but Megan and RJ hold nothing back...even if they like what they are talking about! Worth a listen even if you don't like to read.

Careful, or you might learn something

RJ and Meg are as great a comedic duo as anyone out there. The research is thorough and the banter is entertaining. I wanna give a shout out to Snorey Noori, and hopefully she'll listen for her shoutout and get the hint that she needs to start listening to this hilarious podcast.

Educational fun!

Lots of fun, frequently laugh-out-loud funny, but the hosts also give you a good rundown of a book's main plot points, themes, and context. It's never dry, always interesting, and sometimes you might even learn something you didn't catch in your college lit classes. :)
