Our mission is to share the stories of immigrant chefs in our community, and to use food as a way to understand the world from other perspectives than our own. We hope you’ll join us on our quest across Kansas City to open our minds and fill our bellies.

A new appreciation
Gives me a new appreciation for what drives chefs—especially immigrant chefs who bring their regional dishes to our cities.
It's inspiring to hear from chefs who are pasionate about sharing traditional food they grew up with and are not intersted in compromising to try and fit in.
About much more than Kansas City’s Restaurant Scene
I am so impressed with this podcast. I don’t live near Kansas City any longer but am always looking for more podcasts to listen to. I am so impressed by the production quality of this podcast and was so pleasantly surprised by the content being about much more than the restaurant. It is about telling immigrant stories and their culture through food. This podcast is for everyone who enjoys learning about food, even if you aren’t in the Kansas City area. The host is also an amazing interviewer, really listening and responding to the guest in a thoughtful way. Can’t wait for more!
