Don't mourn, organize! (And listen to OrganizingWork!)

Do you have a job? Is it miserable and alienating? Would you like that job to be less miserable and alienating? Then you should organize, and listen to this excellent podcast, Organizing Work!

What separates the IWW from other left wing projects is its focus on the point of exploitation, the workplace. This podcast provides invaluable lessons on how to set about the task of organizing the workplace that are grounded in genuine experience and a clear, straightforward analysis of what works and what doesn’t. This is sometimes different than what we think, and very often less exciting or dramatic than perhaps we wish it was. This doesn’t matter. What matters is what works at organizing work.

Every worker, be they a member of the IWW or not, and whatever their thoughts on Solidarity Unionism, has something to gain from engaging with this thoughtful, well-made podcast; I cannot recommend it strongly enough! I am grateful to the Fellow Workers who produce it (as well as the excellent website: and am exited to listen to the episodes to come!

Solidarity Forever!
