Each week I bring you useful and thoughtful ways to cultivate a life of restfulness, wellness, and balance so we can live full and meaningful lives. Each week I will have a conversation with experts in various fields that share their wisdom to help us begin to cultivate this practice in our own lives. We'll uncover wisdom in areas of rest, renewal, sleep, spiritual disciplines, finances, wellness, and more. The show comes from a Christian worldview and will be most enjoyed by other followers of Christ. Hosted by Matt Heffner founder of Our Daily Rest. More than a decade ago he was diagnosed with a chronic disease that began his journey to jump out of the fast lane, slow down, and live more fully each day. And now he'd like to take you along on that journey. Get more resources at www.ourdailyrest.net.

A great listen...
This is a great way to start my day in my quiet time. I love that Matt shares his journey with the listener in such a relatable, and poignant way.
Please give it a listen and make sure to share and come back here to leave a review.
And with all things these days, take what you like and leave the rest...some of this may not be happening in your life, but all of the discussion is interesting and inspiring.
Much needed topic
I found this podcast at just the right time in my life. In the bustle of every day, in a family, in my work, I knew I needed more rest, but was struggling to get some focus and clarity on it. I'm thankful Matt is delving in and sharing wisdom on this with a combination of theological insight and practical suggestions. Looking forward to more!
Love Matt's genuine approach to his listeners and guests. Rest is so important and undervalued in our lives. Our Daily Rest is a much needed encouragement!
