I found this podcast by accident. I was looking for Out there and I only used one T and found out here. I’ve seen the reality tv show so I was familiar with the people. I loved how this was unscripted and how everyone talked about real life and issues. I understand your masters program is complete but I think you should continue the show! Also how come you didn’t interview Neil... lol!
Hidden gem, just like Alaska
Really interesting and well done!
A thoughtful, quiet, illuminating look at a remote Alaskan "town"
Wrangall-St. Elias National Park in Alaska says that it's bigger than Yellowstone, Yosemite, and Switzerland put together. McCarthy is a teeny-tiny community plopped down in the middle of it. With well-curated interviews of the town's residents, Erin McKintry paints a beautiful portrait of life "out there" at, or really beyond, the fringes of civilization. There's evocative original music and a strong narrative arc. Very much worth a listen!
