Strong start!

I really didn't want the first episode to end, which speaks to the fact that Gavia and Morgan are interesting and thoughtful while also delving into a topic that's ripe for divisiveness among nerds. They obviously have their preferences but don't drown out meaningful conversation with them, something that I find to be a problem with a lot of fan-aimed discussion media.

Maybe I'll change my mind when they tear apart something I myself am overinvested in, but I look forward to the discussion nonetheless.

Like listening to your most fun, insightful friends

I've been a fan of Gavia's work on Tumblr/The Daily Dot for a long time, and this show convinced me that she and Morgan are just as entertaining and fun to listen to as they are to read. Their analysis of Batman v Superman was spot on and even-handed, as well as incredibly funny at times. They both have pleasant voices (important for a podcast), and while it's clear they aren't totally unbiased (and shouldn't have to be) their observations are well supported and not mean-spirited. I hope this show keeps being amazing, as so far it's one of my favorite podcasts.
