Page Up is a podcast for authors-in-transformation who are ready to write a book that makes a difference, hosted by best-selling author and publisher, Dr. Angela Lauria. Dr. Lauria created the show for people who want to write a non-fiction authors of personal growth, self-help, how-to, business, and spiritual books, and memoirs but want to make sure they do it in a way that people buy it and read it. She created and runs The Author Incubator, which offers a program nurturing books from idea to completion with a team of editors, designers, and book coaches to support authors on their book journey. If my Inner Author were an actual person, who I could sit down and have a beautiful, inspiring talk with, I bet she’d sound just like Dr. Angela Lauria! I love listening to the sage words of Angela’s Page Up podcast series. It feels like a visit from my Book Muse.
Episode 3 of Page Up answers the eternal question of how to embrace writer’s block and move past it. In this episode, Angela not only gifts you with three insightful, practical techniques for overcoming writer’s block, but she also gifts you her 30-minute “Creativity Temple” Visualization Exercise. It’s a powerful exercise to connect you with your “already written” book. Definitely take the time to download and listen to her Creativity Temple Visualization. It’s a tool worth immediately adding to your writing repertoire.
The honesty with which Angela helps you to welcome and work with writer’s block is not only refreshing it’s invaluable! I’m always looking for resources I can try myself as a writer and tips and techniques I can share with my own clients. I just discovered her podcast series, and wow, am I already all the better for it!
