If you need a kick in the pants to get started making games as a hobby, as an indie developer, or even for your professionial portfolio, Game Devs Like You is the perfect podcast. Every guest on the show comes from a completely different background, and each found their way into game development under various circumstances. As a result, their unique stories provide motivation for those unsure about getting started in development. Chris keeps the interviews moving right along with insightful questions and meaningful anecdotes, all the while maintaining focus on how each guest's experience can help listeners begin their own journies into game development.

I find that anytime that I listen to one of these episodes I tend to focus more and have better drive for the game dev that I’m trying to do. Hearing about the things that people have done, what challenges they face, and how they overcome them is a great inspiration to do better yourself.

Very informative Podcasts!

These podcasts are very well done. It’s great to hear from developers at all levels and from different backgrounds. Chris does a great job interviewing and asking questions, keeping the conversation interesting and informative. These real life stories are very enlightening and keeps you engaged. I’d highly recommend this podcast to anyone looking to learn more about game development.
