Got 'Em

Brent's calm and pleasant tonality really makes the guest seem relaxed and honest. It is impressive how open the guest sound when chatting with Brent.

The best interviewer and fascinating guests

Brent Pierson really knows how to get the most out of the people he talks to. He has a way of really getting to the heart of the person and it makes you feel like you are a fly on the wall. His guests are so informative, entertaining, and really profound in ways that were totally unexpected. Take a listen and I'm sure you'll be hooked.

Move over Larry King

I love this podcast. The art of the interview, in my opinion, is quickly becoming lost in our brave new world of limited characters, clips, posts, pics and shallow media breaths. But Pierson keeps the art alive big time here by extracting extremely interesting stories & moments from some unexpectedly fascinating guests.

A few of my favorites from the early episodes... Brent Green who's planted thousands of trees in LA - wow, the Hollywood reptile wrangler who sounds to me like the Steve Irwin of movie-making, Chuck Cirino the B-movie soundtrack guru, Peggy Hall who's personal story about a dying mother literally brought tears to my eyes, the pet attorney, and on and on. I've loved almost every show.

It's hard to put my finger on why I love the show so much, but I think a lot of it has to do with just how human & real it comes across... a subtle but powerful testament to Pierson's talent as a producer and interviewer.
