Walt Appell was a tireless, hardworking man who loved cars from the time he was a teen, being raised by his siblings. He owned two gas stations, and later a deli, and through it all was a volunteer fireman and fire chief. His only dream for retirement was to have an iconic classic Chevy. And he did just that, until he died suddenly, leaving a wife and two son’s stricken by grief, a lifetime of stories, and a ‘55 Bel-Air in the garage.
