In the midst of a sea-change, you don't just build a boat. You make the wave. Good Beer Hunting is how industry strategist, writer, and photographer Michael Kiser is crafting the story of beer around the world — not from the outside looking in, rather, from the center of the movement. GBH is the chronicle of the most compelling people, places and products he encounters on his travels. In addition to the website, the podcast is devoted to using craft beer as a bridge between other types of businesses, craft-oriented cultures, and what we eat and drink. Interviews with brewers, aficionados, and makers of all types with one thing in common — a fascination with what's happening in craft beer. Recorded at GBH Studios in Chicago, Illinois. Join him on the hunt.

Smartest Beer Podcast

Even though this podcast is Chicago based, it is a fantastic resource for anyone interested in learning more about the beer industry without all the hype. I look forward to every episode, even those in which the beer is not available in California. This is a people, industry and lifestyle show that just happens to focus on beer. Love it!

Storytelling. Beer legends. Personal and deep conversations.

The podcast of Good Beer Hunting itself is reflective, knowledgeable, exciting. It is filled with a passion which can fill a listener with joy and interest. Good Beer Hunting itself is an institution. While Michael Kiser may not be the only person working on the Podcast, events, and website, he is the heart and soul of this multimedia cultural force. His knowledge, connections, and degree of love for beer in our current revolutionary times deliver this beautiful podcast. If you live anywhere that their events have occurred, you know what they have done. Uppers and Downers this past January changed my palate, my thinking on beers, coffee, cider and how events can transform food and beverage culture. If you love great beer, interesting people or interviews that regularly delve into something of deeper interest, this podcast exists for you,

Love where the organic conversion winds up

Listening to the GBH Podcast is a little like peeling away the layers of an onion (but without the tears). Host Michael establishes a report with feature guests quickly and easily, and then the organic conversation builds and flows from there. He could easily administer an online quiz to listeners at the end of each episode to reinforce all the tidbits that come out of the conversation.
