Friendly, Conversational Style Makes This The Best Way To Learn!

Mastermind (and All Around Friendly Guy) Peter Galante has done it again! EnglishPod101 is such an innovative way to learn, and this team know how to get you to jump in there and STAY PUT! Each lesson is bite-sized and easy to understand. The cast is friendly and inviting - you really sound as though you're involved in a conversation among friends, which can be extremely encouraging during times when words or phrases just don't want to stick. Cultural references and colloquialisms abound (though not the trendy and easily outdated types), which makes the whole experience feel solid and well rounded! Almost immediately, instead of spending weeks on asking about the weather, you jump into really crucial situational lessons that'll form a great initial foundation for the student to go out there and USE what he or she has learned. From there, what you have already learned will be reinforced and built upon in future lessons, so you can really become confident that you've got the proper usage of words and phrases down. I've never heard a more practical and self-contained series of audio lessons (and I feel like I've tried them all!). Everything is made so clear! No accompanying book is necessary, though the websites offer endless all-in-one resources! Please refer this to anyone Japanese who may be interested in picking up on a really natural way of learning English, and if you're interested in Japanese, its sister site is really THE BEST way to learn!

Great Show!

This is a great resource brought to you by a great team! Much thanks to Peter and company for all their hard work.

Video vocab adds new element

After several years teaching English in Japan, I now teach it as a volunteer back in the states. My students are Latina mothers, but the videos still prove invaluable. Thank you!
