Master Storyteller at Work

The plot is wire-tight from the beginning, pulling you deeper into the world of the podcast and toward the story's conclusion. The details are haunting and the acting is great (Fox is a little forced but hey, he's a kid so let's give him a season to get used to it). What I really loved about SN1 was the theme, exploring what it means to be a parent when you can't protect your child, and the special power of childhood imagination. Classic horror themes both, and expertly explored here. I can't wait to see where SN2 takes us!

Great acting, storytelling, production

I'm hooked! This is on par with Limetown for production values. The actors can actually act, which is sadly not the case in most audio dramas (Black Tapes, Tunnels, Pleasure Town, etc). This is fun and creepy to listen to. Can't wait for more.

Very Immersive

This podcast was created with love. It has superb fit and finish.

It's format is very much like that of an NPR story piece. You have a reporter who explores a world that it's viewers have not likely seen or present to any prospective you may not have considered.

Little attention to details such as how the story is presented, the format in which the reporter speaks and the background music filler all contribute to bring you into this immersive world.

The writing, dialog and acting all feel natural in this very unnatural story. And everything feels on par with the format and presentation.

I look forward to hearing the next episode!
