My New Favorite Thing

I listened to this last night and was blown away. I love how the podcast takes real world things and morphs them, making its own fantastical world. The use of music was cool--especially considering the theme, I loved the celebrity cameos, and the story tugged at my heart.

Free Wolf Island--I'm on my way.

Very Immersive

This podcast was created with love. It has superb fit and finish.

It's format is very much like that of an NPR story piece. You have a reporter who explores a world that it's viewers have not likely seen or present to any prospective you may not have considered.

Little attention to details such as how the story is presented, the format in which the reporter speaks and the background music filler all contribute to bring you into this immersive world.

The writing, dialog and acting all feel natural in this very unnatural story. And everything feels on par with the format and presentation.

I look forward to hearing the next episode!

Wow...

The fine details in the audio editing, the scripting and language, the use of real people... This makes this NPR like news piece of Spec Fic very possible. I will have to go read Joe Hill's The Fireman when I get my next audible credit, just because of this. Take the time to turn off that tv show you watch only because it's between the two shows you really want to watch, and listen to this instead. Do you have a Patreon?
