Great listen

I'm always on the hunt for new music, and music I may have missed. These guys know their stuff, and they approach the topic with the same cultural-social values I do, so they don't ignore the treacherous agendas of the artists they feature, if any exist.

Great in-depth look at bands

Great in-depth look at a new band each week. I've been surprised by the subject each episode, and honestly haven't been a huge fan of any of them, but have still found the episodes immensely enjoyable. They explore the bands' roots, discuss the members roles, and look at their whole body of work.
I find myself wanting to pause and run to Spotify to listen to clips of the songs they reference. I do wish they'd sample a bit more of the music, during the podcast, as a point of reference. The episodes are long, which I appreciate. This has become my Monday morning run podcast.
I know part of the point is to not bring politics into the discussion, but I'd love to hear how, if at all, these bands have informed the social consciousness and political leanings of the hosts/guest. Maybe a spin-off podcast?? I'm a moderate who grew up in a super politically conservative house, but have always been drawn to music with pretty left-leaning messages.
Can't wait to see who else they discuss!

Love the podcast

I can't wait to see what they have in store! Mostly I can't wait for them to discuss Kesha for an hour and a half <3
