They clearly either haven't taken any time to read anything they try and present or have no interest in explaining it at any meaningful level of detail. This is basically just a group of guys joking with each other the entire time and this podcast has essentially zero substance. Don't bother with it if you are hoping to learn anything. It is mindless. Stick with Nature, Science mag, NEJM,JAMA or other podcasts.
Great until the “funny” guy won’t shut up.
The first episode I listened to was “Neuroinflammation with Kenya Cohane”, so this opinion isn't totally fair until I get a few more episodes in. It was really good once the “funny” guy stopped interrupting with irrelevant movie references for the first half (20 minutes) of the episode (is this a pop culture or science podcast?). At which point their guest finally got to talk for more than a few seconds at a time… Since the topics seem so interesting and the other host, Ken, is a normal human who lets other people talk, I’ll give this podcast more chances. To the “funny” guy… Please stop trying so hard and let your guests and topic be the show’s focus. I few lame jokes is fine, but this was such overkill. Hoping this was just an off day.
A nice mix of science and fun.
Some constructive criticism, maybe talk more about top customers and/or product secrets.
