My Favorite Podcast

Mick Garris is the perfect horror host. He’s a great interviewer and film historian who brings out the best stories and anecdotes from his ghoulish guests. I wasn’t big on podcasts until I started listening to Post Mortem. It’s so good, that my only complaint is that it makes it harder to listen to other horror podcasts because it’s like going from Halloween to Offerings. Post Mortem is the Plymouth Fury of horror podcasts.

Mick is clearly a top notch interviewer!

Whether you are only an occasional horror fan or you absolutely adore it, this podcast is for you. Mick Garris shows his chops for interviewing! This podcast is polished, well done and will leave you wanting more. Easily one of my faves as you can tell by my review!

The Mike Douglas of Horror

Just as talk show host Mike Douglas was known in the 70’s as the nicest man in show biz, the same could be said of Mick Garris for his warm, thoughtful interviews with some of Horror’s great craftsmen of film: producers, directors, actors, writers, and musicians who score movies. Harris is such a nice friendly host, it’s hard to believe some of the frightening stories he has set to film over the last several decades. Insightful and thought provoking, Garris gets these greats to open up about their influences and processes while telling stories of their journey along the way. A well crafted fascinating podcast.
