Two idiots talk (mostly) about the Game of Thrones TV series, based off of the A Song of Ice and Fire series, based off of a George RR Martin. You'll definitely know when something wasn't in the books.

a bright spot in the misery that was season 5

came for the davos hate, stayed for the warg theories

GOT episode reviews with relaxed and knowledgeable hosts.

The hosts of this podcast go through the GOT series episode by episode, giving their thoughts, behind the scenes information about the production of the series, and sharing their sometimes (oftentimes) ridiculous theories.

The casual and easy tone of this podcast really gives the impression of sitting back with friends to discuss an episode. Both hosts are knowledgeable in the canon so the conversations weave easily between the reviewing GOT and, say, favorite flavors of poptarts.

The hosts have an amusing and relaxed chemistry with each other, the type where it's not stressful if they accidentally talk over one another, and subjects can be dropped - but it's entirely possible they will be brought up again on another episode. I find myself pulled easily along on their conversations, occasionally going "No! Don't get derailed from that point about GOT to talk about something random!" But then when they've finished with that I'll end up going "No don't go back to GOT! Keep talking about that random thing!"

Their commentary is well reasoned and enjoyable, and they are extremely welcoming to listener interaction. I definitely recommend this podcast, it makes the hour and some change absolutely fly by. It's my go-to when I have a long wait.

sincerely enjoyable to listen to

scrappy lil underdog of a podcast w a lot of heart and wrestling references. good comedy produced by two pals who both have nice voices. if you like bits, puns, and conspiracy theories you're in the right place.
