PR Camp

In her short and engaging podcasts, Kathe Stanton addresses topics of interest to anyone who has to deal in public relations. Relying on her experience in radio, TV, and other media, she gives practical tips for improving one’s PR effectiveness. In her first podcast, for instance, she advises on how to be quotable in the media. In the following one, “The Portable, Quotable You,” she notes that few great quotes are spontaneous and advises on how to gather and plan quotes in advance. In the third, she warns against conveying unflattering hidden messages in one’s news releases. Stanton is an excellent presenter, and her advice is sensible and easy to understand.

Great stuff!

More than for just PR, these made me rethink the way I present myself overall, making me more aware of how I come across, controlling how I am perceived. A great listen with loads of valuable and useful information!

Concise, witty pearls of wisdom

We all think that because we consume so much media everyday we're automatically experts in the field. PR Camp gently turns that rock over to reveal how much we may not know about how we are perceived by the media and by media consumers. Kathe Stanton uses humor and insight to give listeners a shift in perspective and common sense tools to be more effective communicators.
