Life-breathing, shame-busting, inspiring, challenging, and real!!

Love it!

To be honest, i started listening to this podcast because of a raffle Jessica was running. I am not a business owner, I am not scared about sinking money into a new cause and i am not putting myself out there trying to sell anything. This podcast is for entrepreneurs right? I’m a mom of 3 and the only thing I thought i was really scared of was not fitting into my skinny jeans again (and i don’t mean the style...i mean my legit when-i-was-skinny jeans). I started listening to this podcast while under foils at the salon so naturally i selected the Dry Bar episode. Immediately, i had this “oh duh...” moment when i was listening to Allison Webb talk. She said after two kids she started getting antsy. She was overcome with a “what’s next for me” feeling. 3 kids later, I’m feeling the same thing. I’ve been working on a children’s book for the past year and as I draw near to the end of the illustrations and story, i find myself wondering, “what’s next?” And you know what? I am a little scared. The book was supposed to be just for fun but I am surprisingly having big visions for it. When I realized i didn’t need to be on the verge of launching a huge business like Jessica and Allison, i instantly loved the podcast. It made me pause the podcast and allow myself to think about what it would take to self publish, market and tour. When the podcast was over i realized i have a lot to be scared about and maybe i need to lean into the fear and take the next step. Looking forward to more inspiration.
