OMG! Alen is the male version of me!

I was almost shaking when I heard Alen on Recovery Warriors and heard him say all of the things he went through as a kid and young adult. I had experienced ALL of them. Finally, someone like ME!. Just listening to his first podcast, (yes, the beginning), shows me that I can recover the person I was meant to be. Thank you, Alen....and I hope you are doing well.

Alen's experience is very relatable for the recovering perfectionist

I found the PNP Podcast after the name had been changed, and started with episode 41 "The Perfectionist and Perfectionism". I fully expected something super-relevant to my experience based on the name, but I don't think I had a clue exactly how much I would learn. I'm a 32-year-old tech entrepreneur, and in just the past year I've finally recognized anxiety as the core of so many of my life's problems. Binge and other disordered eating habits, calling out of work due to crippling anxiety, not being able to get episodes of my podcast out in time no matter how into the topic I am... podcasts like this have been critical for me in identifying anxiety and perfectionism as the connecting thread.

Thank you so much for your work, and I'm a dedicated listener now. :) -Nicole

Emotional Eating Help

This is a wonderful podcast and one of the only podcasts that interviews the author of the incredibly helpful book, Brain Over Binge. As someone who struggles with eating issues, it's comforting to hear people with the same problem.
